Hey everyone, I just want to say thank you first of all to everyone that is reading my blogs as this is kind of where I put most of the information on the trip I am on. I would just like to ask that if you are reading my blog and you enjoy it that you would share it with other people you may know. Now you may have guessed what this specific blog is going to be about by the name.. so let’s just jump in.
As of right now, I am 25% funded!! So I’m total since I have launched onto the field I have gone up by 10%. Every 1% is equal to about $200, and I have $14,760 remaining to be fully funded. I need to be fully funded by September 25th. The original deadline set by AIM was May 28th, this September date is set by me to not drag out this any further but also giving time to let people pray about it and get situated. I have set up something I like to call adopt a day and verse! So how that works, is when you adopt a day, you automatically adopt the verse that goes with it. The only twist is that you don’t know what verse you are taking. The whole point of this is yes to get me fully funded but also, I am breaking down each verse and kind of making it into a devotional sort of thing. Currently Instagram Live is not working for me so I will be prerecording each one, only when it gets “adopted” and then I will be posting them on my YouTube channel @laz-band-official. Along with that I have started making music and releasing it on my Youtube channel! If you would like to support me in that, the best way to do so is to subscribe to my channel. Now obviously I have already posted two of the verses on my instagram, those will be getting recorded and posted on my YouTube channel as well. With the music, I have already released my first song called You’re still here. Now you’re probably wondering well who’s Laz? Well that is going to be my artist name when I start releasing music full time and I chose Laz because it is short for Lazarus. Even though I was raised in a Christian family and I went to church my whole life I feel like at one point in my life, my faith was completely dead, but when I went on my first out of country mission trip Jesus met me there and revived my faith in him. Just like in the Bible where Lazarus was physically dead and then Jesus came and brought him back to life. I’m not gonna make this blog too much longer but I will be posting another blog later today.
The only thing I ask of you all now is that you keep praying for me, share my posts on Instagram and Facebook, and pray about it. Pray and ask the lord if you should become a donor and partner with me in this journey that the lord has me on, and when he leads you to do that, say YES. Your yes is everything to God so do it! Draw near to him and he will draw near to you.
